Renue UK have carried out a Wood Floor Restoration project at Princess Helena College.

Princess Helena College is an independent boarding and day school for girls and contacted Renue UK Ltd to carry out a full Wood Floor Restoration project of their 28 year old Solid Beech main sports hall floor.

The existing court markings were in a very poor condition and the floor needed repairing in several places where a scissor lift had damaged the floor. The floor was also very dark in colour due to several floor coatings being used previously.

The floor was sanded back to remove all of the existing court markings and sealer.

The repairs were made and the floor prepared for sealing. The floor was then primed and coated with one coat of Granwax Master Finish Sport. The new court markings were then marked out and painted including the new specification Basketball Court. The final coats of seal were then applied.

The College and in particular the PE department were delighted with their new floor. We are now preparing a periodic maintenance plan to ensure the floor stays in excellent condition.
