The Main Hall Wood Block Flooring at Henwick Primary School in Eltham was looking tired and needed a Wood Floor Restoration to restore and protect the surface. This floor is in a very high traffic area and had seen very little attention over recent years and was looking dull and scratched.

This was the third year in a row that Henwick Primary School had used Renue UK to carry out a Wood Floor Restoration.

The school is on three levels with a large Main Hall and long corridor on each level. The ground and first floor had already received a full Wood Floor Restoration by Renue UK in previous years and this time it was the second floor which was due for a Wood Floor Restoration.

The Wood Block floor was hidden under some seriously thick floor coatings and the blocks were very uneven due to water damage. During the Wood Floor Restoration the floor was sanded back and the natural beauty of the light coloured pine blocks was revealed and the floor was almost unrecognisable from its previous appearance.

During this Wood Floor Restoration project the ground floor also received a deep clean and two additional coats of seal to maintain its appearance.
